Vacuum solenoid part number?

Would anyone happen to have the part number for the vacuum solenoid? I was doing some testing at TNT's direction and I think I might have the same problem that he did in regards to the ESOF.

If anyone has the part number it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about the part that has an electical connection and vacumm lines running out of it? If so I have one you can have. I tore it off when I installed the mile marker hub lock outs. I had no use for any vacuum on my truck except for hvac, so that is all i got now. Let me try and find it lol.

Good deal John, I have to spread some rep points around before I give you anymore. Funny thing is ,I just pulled my ESOF solenoid off today. Along with relocating my vacuume canister. I'm making room for my next project!

Question

Got a question about mine. When I put the key to the on position and wait for the diesel light to go out, my pump runs. It runs for over a minute before it stops. I'm not having any issues with 4X4 or anything, but is this something I need to worry about? Loud little sucker too. Sounds like the pump I plug in to pump up tires!!Thanks in advance for any advice!

It is normal for the fuel pump to energize when the key is first turned on and run for a while. As far as the noise level of the pump, it would be hard to say since we can't hear it. From your description, it sounds like it may be noisier than normal. Have you changed your fuel filter lately? A restricted filter could be causing the pump to work harder. I have the Carter "prepump" pump mounted inline and it is a lot louder than the stock pump.

As an FYI for anybody else that can't get one for free from somebody's tool box, the vacuum solenoid for the ESOF system is: 7C3Z-9H465-A. Just bought one a week ago for my '03.

Watch out since this part number just got changed like 2 months ago. The above number is correct.
