I have a '92 F-150, 4x4, 302, E4OD that I want to swap over to MAF. I found a recycled autoparts place online that has a '94 F150 harness. Are all '94 trucks with a 302 mass air equipped? I looked through the pics here, cardomain and ebaymotors and so far I haven't seen a non-MAF truck yet with a 302. They sent me the VIN of the truck but that only shows that it's a 302 truck, if I get them to send me the part number off of the ECM itself will that tell me if it's E4OD & MAF? Thanks for any help.
Not all 302 had Maf in 94. My 94 does . If you get all harnesses (ecm to fendwell/lights and the engine harness ) You will have to swap firing order of injectors if you truck is old 302 and not 302 /351 order (93 ish up ) Easy to do just swap wire at junction at fender.
You will need air box also as the air sensor was moved to air box (I did rewire one to use intake mounted sensor)
As for tranny Ask for the door jamb 7th space on bottom E is E4od and U is 4R70w. I'm sure that the ecm code say's which tranny but I don't know >
Any 94 95 trucks (4 of the plus my driver Plus one I looked at to buy )I have got MAF parts off of have been the 302 e4od but I have been told its not common. I have problems finding any 4R70W trucks in my area the dealers must not have ordered them .
Get the program code off the computer and that will tell more than anything else will.
The calibration number off the truck will give the part number of the PCM computer.

The 94 was a hybrid year where some were MAF and some were SD.
Since your truck is SD, if you find yourself a 94 speed density E40D EEC feel free to plug it in "as is" as it's totally compatible assuming you match the engine size and E40d designators.
Note that E-Vans, Bronco's and F-series use the same EEC's for a given engine/tranny combination so you have other sources for the same part as well.
It's a shame you don't have a 351W because the E/F 350/450 with the 351W and E40D has an awesome timing curve (particularly the E350's) as most of those vehicles were heavy haulers - in the case of the E-vans they were airport shuttles - accelerating and decelerating all day, and the timing curve reflects this.
That's what I have in my F350 crewcab... a 94 E450 EEC. Was worth a mile per gallon and some noticable snap off the line. Not bad for a very tired engine.
