Hello everyone! My fiancee and I picked up an '08 last week.
6.4 4x4 Auto Lariet, Darkstone/tan. I hope I wont regret not getting a sunroof. We added a toolbox, bull bar and a LineX liner.
We have a little over 1000 miles on her already. Took a nice trip down to Biloxi, MS then to Gulf Shores, Al and on to the Florida panhandle this weekend. Really comfortable ride and the mpg slowly increased the entire trip. Computer registered 8.5mpg initialy so I reset it and was getting @ 12.1. At the end of the trip it was 15.1mpg. We didn't purchase this truck for MPG and I am not disappointed in the least with anything! I couldn't be happier. Taking another short camping trip the next few days before tailgating college football.
This is our first diesel and first ford in a long time. This is by far the nicest truck/vehicle either of us has ever owned. I really enjoyed pulling a Nissan Titan out of the sand in Pensacola Sunday. I traded a Titan in on this truck. I'll try to get a pic up soon.
Welcome to the PSD family. Miust be nice to have a wife that enjoys the ride of a real mans truck. Happy camping
Yes it is! She loves driving it also! She wanted us to get a new Tundra... I looked at the price and thought I could get the truck I wanted instead for not much more. I took her on a nice little trip to the local Ford dealer and she was sold almost immediately! We didn't even need to go back to the Toyota dealer again.
I am supposed to run any truck accessory purchases thru her though. The list is already growing! I can't wait.
