for a while now, i have noticed a loos in fuel milage and have been meaning to clean the epbs and tube but havent got around to it, so the other day i was doing a little work on the truck and decided to change out the air filter, its been a little while since it was last done so when i pulled the filter out i couldnt belive my eyes. i did a lot of camping this year and there are always squirrels around, and i chased a few from the engine, well one of them must have slipped by me, check out the picture
so to everyone that does a lot of camping dont forget to check your filter, and i hope this may regain my lost fuel milage, i hope

That garage/counter is entirely too clean and uncluttered. As for the best filter, anything but the stocker was always my opinion but it seems that K&N is a no go in our trucks. I run the 6637. Some will say the AIS is the best. That will set you back about $200. Ultimate filter, but I don't know about ultimate flow.

yeah the counter is clean, very rare, but last sunday i built some shelves along one wall and gave the garage a good going over, i couldnt stand it anymore, i just wonder how long it will last.
anyways i am not trying to look for the best filter i was just showing the damage some squirrels could do, some how they figured they would make a home in my airbox, so if anyone else does lots of camping like i do and are chasing squirrels out from the engine compartment, maybe they should check thier filter out, if they are using the stock filter.
EPBS & TUBE what, how, and where is this located !
The exhaust back pressure sensor is located on the front of the passenger side of the engine. The sensor takes exhaust pressure readings from the passenger side manifold and pipes it via a tube to the exhaust backprssure valve on the turbo where it may close the valve closing off exhaust somewhat thus allowing "quicker cabin heating" on cold startups in cold weather. What specifically do you want to know?
No ! I didn't know what the letters meant I know now!!! I didn't know there was someting to clean out in it ! It's hard to tell sometimes what all the letters stand for !! Sorry still learning! thank you for the repley...........
