I am working on the interior in a 54 and can not find any pictures of the original head liner, including around the rear window. I would like to see some pictures so I can deside weather to go stock or some type of custom. Pictures of both custom or stock will be helpful. Thanks in advance.
Check out roddoors.com.
I currently have a 56 M100 that I did with a Rod Doors interior.Easy for the do it yourself person to install. They are real slow at sending the stuff out, but it is well worth the wait. And it looks great when completed.
I've also done a 56F100 in the original interior. Also easy to install. But the Rod Doors interior looks a lot better and is a lot more durable.
Just my 2 cents worth.I would show you pictures but I don't have a clue how to do it.

I did the old style three piece Rod Doors unit with the optional overhead consule. It is much easier now since they came out with the one piece headliner unit. Jag
Jag red 54 what have you covered your headliner and console with?

That is "tried and true" tweed material. It is the favorite pick for us do-it-yourselfers. It is thick and springy. Stiff material will not work as well because of the contours involved. Unfortunately, to get the proper springiness and elasticty, you need to buy the expensive material. Mine was about $25/yard and that was three years ago. So today, maybe $30/yd? Good luck, Jag
