Any one out there currently using them and what kind? Any feed back on mileage, throttle response, power gains would be greatful. Any other benifets of using fuel additives/ any other devices/ fluids being used.
powerstrokin im not being a dick when i say this but this subject has been beat like a rented mule. search fuel additives on the main page. you will find more info than you can read in a day.

I use Schaeffer's Dieseltreat. Most folks see a 1-2 mpg increase, easier cold weather starts, injector cleaner, fuel lubrication, 5 point cetane boost without having to double dose it, etc....
I used the Diesel Kleen for about 9 months and then switched over to the Stanadyne Performance Formula. Seems I'm getting about 0.5 mpg lower efficiency with the SPF in comparison to the DK. I'm getting ready to start running B20, and may still try to get my mileage back with either the DK or Schaeffer product... I'm going to try them both anyway to see if I can confirm the mileage issue.
The DK did give me about a 1-2 mpg gain over "no additive" conditions.
I haven't tried Dieseltreat yet but there is a pump that says it has that added. Well, from that, no mileage difference or any difference. I suppose I could try a few tanks of the stuff and see where we go from there. Manually added in, I mean. Pretty much everything I tried has been snake oil so far.
Thanks for the input, just wondering what works really and what does not. I currently am using diesel kleen my self and seems really good. just wanted to know if something works really good in the psd.
Just a note on the Schaeffer's Diesel Treat. They have several different types of additive. The most common is just the regular Diesel Treat 2000. That is what most of us on here has ran. But they have a better additive called Diesel Treat 2000 Winter Premiun the part number to give the sales reps is 137ulsw. I talked to guy over the fuel additive department and he said that the 137ulsw is the best for year around performance. I have order some, but I have not used it yet. I will let everyone know how it goes.
I use biodiesel when available. When it's not I use Howe's since that is the only bottle I have found so far that does not leak. I also recorded my best MPG ever using Howe's, but had problems duplicating the results.

Same thing here. I've got some of the Winter Blend in the garage waiting for the cold temps to get here.
Yeah, winter blend?
Sorry, I have already forgotton that there's places in USA that has a season called winter
Of course we have a "winter" here but avg temps are 60*F
Just kiddin, I came from Colorado to Texas and originally from Finland so I know what is 6mth's in the darkness and cold.
Used to have a diesel Toyota in Finland and that thing sounded bad when you kicked it running from the -25*F.
