Smile turbo upgrade?

i've been looking for more power in my early 99 f250. i currently running a volant cold air intake , 4'' turbo back magnaflow exhaust , and dp tuner adjustable chip. the truck works great but always looking for more. the only turbo upgrade i can find for my early 99 is from hypermax. they say if i go with their turbo and stage 1 injectors i'll be at 425bhp and over 900ft lbs. anyone running this set up and if so does it work and worth the money? thanks for any info.

If i were you, i'd go with stage two injectors, and a Beans Diesel Performance Dominator 66 turbo for your early 99.

I would go with a good Holset turbo with a AR close to 1, the stock garret turbo is junk for high performance. Stock is close to 2 psi of exhaust for 1 psi of boost. Good for turbo response and stock settings.

me personally i'd go w/ a ball bearing turbo either the ats or the garret with a better ported compressor housing both have an AR of 1 the ats is 1800 from diesel performance specialist and the garrat is 1500 from dieselsite and another hundred for their ported compressor housing

http://www.beansdieselperformance.com/99-03turbo.htm

The Dominator 66 is a direct bolt on turbo. You do not need to replace your pedistal and uppipes to run this turbo. The high performance turbo upgrade will flow 1050 CFM. That is a 30% air flow increase of stock. This turbo has a 1 Year replacement warranty. That is almost 100CFM more than the Hypermax H2E turbo at less than half the price and installation time. Maximum recommended pressure is 40PSI. Core required. $1325.

You can't beat the cost! The stock replacement turbonetics, you can't get for that much, and this one is much bigger! it's a 66mm turbo, comparable to a Hypermax H2E but the nice thing is that it's a direct bolt on for the early 99 guys. A dude on PowerstrokeNation made 471 hp with this turbo and B code injectors. (much larger than you want)
