What you guys think???
Hey,
I finally got tired of trying having to guess how much gas I had left in my tank because the gas gauge was stuck on full, so I took it in.
The repair shop said its a faulty sender and it'll be like $380 to drop the tank and replace it. (apparently, they diagnosed the problem without taking down the tank?)
Anyway, there was a delay in getting the part, so they are going to install it tomorrow. BUT, they also suggested since the truck is a 2000 with over 105000 mi on it that is would be wise to also replace the pump since there wouldn't be much additional labor. But they want an extra $200 for that.
I said no, but I wanted to know what y'all think while there is still some time to have them do it if it might be a good idea.
Thanks,
Isaac
