Any Advantage To Removing...
the Carter yfa's metal EGR pipe that connects the carb to the exhaust manifold?
I have the smog system totally removed except for this pipe.
I would remove it but the fitting is kind of rusty at the exhaust manifold and I do not want to "break" something I would'nt be able to replace easily.
If there is no harm in leaving it in place then "all is well". Does the carb pull exhaust gas in through there all the time?
