Death Row Sled pulling.

Here's another project I've been working on lately. DRD has taken on fabrication sponsorship of a Diesel super stock sled puller. Unfortunately it's a Dodge. Tim you will recognize this truck. And of all things it called "Stroker Smoker" The driver is Chris Boerm, some of you might have seen his truck in DP mag in the same article another of DRD truck was in a few months ago. Anyway, he came to me after the Dyno day and asked if I would be interested in sponsoring him. To which I replied, "I'm not a business and I don't have that kind of money." He said NO,no I just need your fab skills and tools. He asked me if I would build driveshaft loops, traction bars, weight box, hood stack etc. I told him, "you buy the material, I'll build whatever you want." Well, away we went!!! He wanted it all done by the nationals next month in Houston. Yes, he will be pulling in Houston. So for those of you who are going, when you see him cheer for him. He's not a Ford guy, but he's a diesel enthusiest to the core. Cummins is just his weapon of choice. Anyway, we didn't get the weight box done, or the hood stack because of time. But when I do, the box will have a big ole DRD sticker on the front comin' down the track at ya. So here are pics of the loops and bars. Chis is the guy in the pics, so now you will recognize him if you see him. Enjoy.

Very nice Cody!!! Looks good. I like the DRD on the bars. How did you mount the front of the rear hoop set so it can pivot? Also glad to see his stacks are set up differently now!! LOL

It actually pivots and telescopes at the rear diff collar. I Put 3/4 solid rod stock inside the 1" square tubing. Not ideal, but I had to use square to secure the rest of the collars better.

No Ryan, no pulling with No.3. I'll live vicariously through Chris. I like actually driving my truck. Chris' was a driver, but got to radical to street, so now he only pulls with it.

They have a few new flava flavs. Cope whiskey, Cope striaght, Cope hickory, and Cope Bourbon.

I just got your message on Snowest. I dont have a big wheel kit but my buddy has one on his Summit. they in my opinion aren't worth the money. I know if I had $300 to burn on my sled I wouldn't spend it there. they do look trick but thats about it, just looks, IMO. Let me know if you want a pic of his big whel kit. Also, Im sendin back your scan tool on wensday, I didn't have the chance to do it today and tomorrow im all tied up movin equipment, but wnesday I'll send it out to ya.

No Steve, we are not. I've been asked by the powers that be to stay out of pissing matches. And to be honest, I don't want to be in them with you or anyone else. Do you have valid info on here, yes. I just can't for the life of me fathom why you would post a pic or sheet of all the cool stuff you have or have done. Pics of under the hood, say nothing. It's been my experience with people like your self, that when they run off all the people that will actually talk to them because they talk down to them, their only option is to get on a forum and stir up crap. That way someone will talk to them. I think your just lonely. I'm not saying that to talk down to you, start crap, etc. I'm a people person, I can get along with ANYONE. And yes, I can get along with you. I just hate the way you talk down to people, it's all in the word play. For us to be cool, I wanna see proof. At this point, I don't care what you have or don't. If you came back on here and said, I really don't have anything......I would start back with the path to get you where you want to be. If you came back with a pic of you and BOTH your trucks, I'll admit I was wrong. Stand inbetween them holding a sign I'm steve kiss my azz Cody will do. I'm not to big headed to say I'm wrong. Was I wrong to flame you, probably. But the things you say are what sets me off. When you talk to people the way you do, it gives them two options, fight or bow. I will not bow, EVER. So I'm just gonna say this, I'm leaving you alone. If we can confer on subjects great. But brotha, pimp name, little, etc....NO. Address me like a normal adult and we will proceed. Will I back your play on BS, no. That's pretty much it, the ball is in your court. All I want is proof, otherwise your just another screen name at this point. But I will say thanks for taking the crap about DRD out of you sig. I appreciate it.
