I asked the same question.. You can go in the 7.3 forum and look for my thread about Stacks.. Only reason I put it there is the fact that 7.3er have the highest number of stack owners.. I'm ordering 6" x 36" Miter Cut stacks.. I was told they look best on SRW vehicle oppose to turn backs, bullhorns, aussie style.. Course I like the miter stack anyways :-P

My only problem is I just put a bed cover on my truck about 2 months ago and don't want to lose it just yet, is there anything I can do with it?

Can I just cut holes in the tonneau cover or do I need to get a metal ring to fit the hole and go over the stacks?

I think his handle is Petes7.3.. Talk to him bout it.. I believe he was coming up with a solution because he was afraid the exhaust heat would melt the cutout if they were against the stacks.. Not sure what he did but I know he figured it out..

Thanks Storm!! While I have your attention, did you ever come up with a decal idea for just the sliding window on a truck?

I did.. It's for just size increase of our current logo.. There are other options such as increaseing the size of the Helmet and centering the text on it. Course those are custom orders

Actually thats what I was looking for, the helmet centered above the text and enlarging it, could you get me a quote on that?

as for cutting holes in the cover... a friend of mine did that and one day while sitting at a light he noticed a bit of smoke.... then he noticed the cover was melting from the heat of the stacks.... im sure if you leave plenty of room though it would be fine..

For the record, I voted no. Stacks are for big trucks...

Here! Here! I agree! If you want stacks, buy a Freightliner! Or a Peterbilt!

(as someone who has done exactly that. )
