What do you think a lifted superduty is???? a tonka toy.
I like stacks on some trucks and some I don't. An F150 for example wouldn't look good with stacks. On the other hand a big superduty would look intimedating as hell.
I don't mind the look, but I have a cover on my bed and I would hate to lose the bed space. Also I have heard the noise can be a bit much after a while. I do a lot of highway driving, and the drone some complain of my get annoying.
I don't like stacks. Your exhaust should exit just behind the rear wheel, where the pipe matches the window of the A-hole in the mini-truck sitting next to you with his music turned up to ear-bleeding levels...............pity you can't make a fuel injected engine backfire.
I saw a Ranger once with 2 inch stacks. I'm really not kidding, there were two little chromed twig thingys coming up outta his bed and if it hadn't been cold enough to see the exhaust condense I wouldn't have believed they were real. Then just yesterday I saw an 80's something dodge with stacks that left a black streak half a block long.
Stacks + smoke = yeah, go for it, it's your truck man
Stacks + 3.0L gasser = dumbasz

Its funny you mention that, there used to be a lifted 2.9 Ranger in my hometown with 2 inch stacks on it, it sounded like crap. Also, one of my friends has a 1981 F-150 with a 300 I-6 and 2.5 inch stacks with tappers outside of the bed. He did it just to be funny and people really stare!

Thats what old D-size batteries are for :-P
You'd be amazed at how quick someone will turn music down when a battery suddenly hits their windshield or them.. of course I have my side arm for backup as well hehe

Thrown D-cell can equal possible road rage, which can lead to prison time.
A backfire....well, yea, I need to get that fixed officer.....
well, lets see how fast you could pull out your firearm and even think about using it. because i know if someone threw something at my truck, i would plow them into a wall and then tell the cops that i lost control after they threw something and i was in fear for my life. and when i say plow them into a wall, i mean full throttle. just remember, weather you think so or not, our trucks will get crushed pretty easy.
