Front axle questions
I was looking under my truck trying to figure out what a rattle was and grabbed the front axle at the u joint and just shook it. So I took the wheel off and disassembled the hub and removed the axle. When I looked at it there are groves in it so do I need a new one or will this one work? Now I'm trying to get the parts to put it back together. Is there a place to get a new axle end and all the hub pieces?

the groves may be a byproduct of the bad u-joint or wheel bearing and the axel just rubbing on somthing. if there not deep it should be fing but if you can catch your finger nail on the grove then have a shop check it out. you can find all the parts you need at www.quad4x4.com thats wher i got all my stuff
