Head mods
Has anybody successfully drilled and tapped the diagonal bolt holes for the exhaust on any FE heads.I am wondering if 8 bolt type heads can be converted to 14 bolt type heads like the GT heads.

I've never drilled them personally, but I do have a set of 428 heads that someone else did that to. They were in a pile of stuff a guy wanted to unload, and didn't know what they were. I have yet to bold a set of manifolds/headers to them to see if they were drilled correctly... That's step 1 for me, step 2 is take them and get them checked... Step 3 is to put them on the 68 when I pull the engine out this spring for a repaint, and a 4bbl swap...
