My current cam has .510 lift for int. and exh. The springs were new when I put it in. The cam I want to replace it with has .460/.480 lift, is there anything I'm missing or can I use the same springs for my new cam?
Shoudl be absolutely no problem. Lower lift doesn't always mean lower required spring pressure but if the durations aren't extremely different it should work great.
