C6 Question

I'm going to look @ a C6 to go with a 351w that I plan on putting in my 48 F2 I'm told it came off a cleveland, no other info was known for sure. the guy said the bolt pattern is the same and should bolt right on. Is this true and what should I look for?

There are 2 versions of the C6-big and small bellhousing, Make sure you are getting the small version or it won't bolt up to your 351.
