no, its not embarrassing, toyota does not have a big enough truck to tow that load, so they got something that could. now it would be embarrassing if they did have something i they chose to have something else tow it.

around here at the cummins repair shop, they have superduties psd's that go out on maintenance runs, complete with the big cummins logo all over it.

Having said that... I would be more interested in who won the race - NOT what brand of vehicle they tow thier trailer with.

heck, i didn't even know they sold those things here.

i guess if they made a crew cab hino it would be a bit better, but i look at that thing and think of one thing driving it cross country.

the chevy is still way more comfortable and probably more road friendly than the hino is.

What people fail to realize is that Toy/GM share many ventures together....even sharing a complete factory in N. California.

(one of many reasons for the sig)

Red Star, you should know by now that it's inappropriate to say anything negative about Toyota.

Ford sold their heavy truck division to Freightliner in 1997.

Does Toy make a rig that tows 15,000 pounds????

(the Hino would need a lot of custom stuff to work)

Want embarrassing?? How about Chevy power in a Ford powered monster truck??

Kingsford charcoal sponsoring a Chevy. (a weak example, but the history of Kingsford is interesting)

Or a Chrysler based powerplant in a Ford sponsored Top Fuel dragster???
