Here we go again.

So i have a p1316 code, and from what i have seen this code could be anything but upon futher investigation i have also oncovered p1204 and p1205 codes. #4 and 5 open/shorted. I only get an ses light flash intermitant after the truck sits and cooled down until my needle os dead on C. any suggestion?

Check your under valve cover gaskets. Look at the electrical connectors and see if they are chaffed or burned just make sure they look correct.

Sorry i have checked the uvc several times and all looks good with them, i have also ohmed the uvc out and all were below 5 ohms. whats next?

I had a similar problem as well, with the dreaded 1316. I checked everything over a dozen times, changed uvc harnesses, gaskets, ohmed everything including the main connector over the drivers side VC, to and from the IDM. I just about gave up, because everything checked out fine on the ohm meter.

Finally i decided to trace every single wire leaving the VC gaskets (outside plug). One of the wires from the passenger side that leaves the outside connector was rubbing against the engine and had BARELY chaffed enough to cause a short. It was weird because it could run fine for a whole week then suddenly it would loose a cylinder and pop a 1316. The chafe was so small that i literally had to put a flashlight real close to it to see it......

I would suggest checking every wire going into the gaskets.....

Now I know why they call them bugs....

Putting a hole in the rad support to aid the flow of air to the filter.......
