1995 460 on propane, compression is good on all 8, did leak down test, smoke test, vacum test, all fine. Replaced rotor, cap, plugs and plug wires, o2 sensor, new head (thought it was a bad valve). Tried a new distributor....no luck
Any ideas?
Seems to only miss when engine gets up to normal operating temp.
TFI ? I will mention it to the shop. They said everything looks good when it's on the scope. All leads are firing to the plugs. I asked about the coil but again they say it shows fine on the scope. Shop is now tearing other head off to look at it, i dont think it's that cause compression is good all around. Does this model year have mutiple ignition coils?
it is a 95 efi , 460. 5spd standard trans
Not sure if compression test was done when hot, shop pulled the second head off yesterday to take a look at it so i will find out soon. The first head did show a little bit of wear but they didnt think enough to cause a problem...time will tell

here is one for ya...engine shop got so P.O.'d at trying to fix problem they replaced my engine on warranty. Wasnt exactly free as it cost me $650 in the end for some over priced parts they used trying to figure out problem and $100 on the deductible. But after 20k miles i've got a fresh new motor!
Truck runs nice and smooth now.
Would have been nice to figure out what the problem was but i guess i'll take this as second best!
Thanks for the suggestions.
