say my truck is stock and i need a clutch would mine more than likely be a solid flywheel or would it be a dual mass flywheel??? which is it more likely to be??? it is a 97 f-250 with the 7.3 powerstroke and i do not know if this will make a diff.. but the bottom of the tranny has a dust cover on it... plz give me a answer as soon as possible cause i have 2 pull a camper to lawrence county in another week...
Not too much a few hundred dollars with clutch and PP and f-wheel. See carolina clutch.com They are supporters of this site. And cheap, quality parts. Get a LUK!!
Yes you do need both. They probably have the whole kit for a little cheaper, FW/PP/clutch combo. If you don't see it call them. Sorry I was a little off on the guestimate. I guess I was just thinking of the FW. Anyway a DMF FW will cost you $1000 alone. So the SMF is cheaper and stronger.
