You should skip it. Sooner or later your flywheel is going to be the issue. Might as well go solid now since you'll have it down for the clutch and be done with it.

I strongly agree skip it. if it were me the flywheel would go out as soon as I did the clutch. Also I don't think you can turn the DMF. At least I wouldn't.

A couple of things...why does he need to buy both when it seems the SMFW kit comes with the clutch kit at a lesser price? Kit 07-154/1 comes with the clutch and flywheel where the other kit mentioned says complete kit, but then the description states to use the solid flywheel kit.

I would give Carolina a call and confirm before ordering both. Ir ecall the whole thing was once quoted (Inc. cylinders and fork) for around $700.00 and think the site may not be accurate in it's descriptions.

I wouldn't replace anything except the clutch and flywheel. If you get in there, if the fork is broke then replace it. Don't throw money at it. Only replace what you have to.

I don't think the slave cylinder is that expensive. Then again it has been awhile since I did mine. I would do that anyway. just my opinion.
