High flow/perf Cat for 2002 V10
Summit and Jeggs and a few other places sell high flow cats
But to tell the truth, unless yours is plugged, (and that is rare in the 01 and up)-- then the factory cat is NOT a restriction in the exhaust system... So Unless your cat is hosed up, save your money
There are a few folks who would be tempted to tell you that cutting one end off, pulling the gutz, lining the outer shell with fiberglass and keeping it in place with stiff wire mesh screen material and welding the end back on will cure any "flow problems"....
But telling you that, they fail to acknowledge that now the catalysts are gone and more pollution is flowing.... go figure
Seriously the cat is not enough of a restriction to worry about
Its the only one I found with a high enough GWVR for my truck. other ones were 7000lbs or less.
I swapped my stock cat for a Dynatech cat mainly to flow a little better and to have more space in under the truck to work.
My main concern would be to swap out the stock Y-pipe section for a Stan's or Ebay Y-pipe and possibly put on a better flowing muffler, as those two are the basic bottle necks in the 99'-04' exhaust system.
