The original ones were convex. If you look at them closely, they're slightly dished.

I think those come with the bolts though. Which, on another similar note, the stock bolts were special too in that the threads weren't evenly spaced. This makes them grip a lot harder and not loosen over time.
I just used two regular hardened washers and then added a split washer for the same effect. Puts 3 washers on each instead of 1, but I'm not paying $130 for washers.
Did you drill in the locating dowel? When I put the efi manifolds on an earlier head I found there was nothing to really index them to the head, just kind of best guess method of where to place the manifolds without that locator pin.
