The hubs on the front axle of my '04 F350 seem to be seezed up. I was considering replacing them. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or opinions between Using OEM or after market replacements. If anyone has any suggestions on after market replacements that may be a quality and realitively cheap. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Quality should be second to none, and cheap is realative.
Cheap is why the manufacturer chose to use plastic, and part of the reason you are having problems.
A good set of manual lockouts are not that expensive, considering the reliability and long term use. You are planning on installing them on a rather expensive truck, so the cost by comparison is very low. No need to cut corners here. The factory replacements you already know have thier own problems, and a cheap replacement will only mean that you will be replacing them again soon.
I use Warn Premiums. Do have a set of the new Dynatracs on my desk, just have not installed them yet. Still like the Warns. Good old faithfull Warn.
