Yeah, that's the stuff, eureka fluid film. It will work better than oil as it's designed and tested to prevent rust. Here's an example of some results from the aircraft industry using it on airplanes (testing results included).

LPS3 is another good product. I think it's a little more waxy thank fluid film. It may help protect a little longer in high wash areas.
I also use fluid flim on guns and when installing bolts etc. Anything steel that I want protected or lubricated. It's very handy stuff.
