2008 SD CREW CAB Sound System
Has anyone out there put in a subwoofer in their '08 6.4L KR SD CC? I am putting in a Pioneer AVIC-D3 NAV/DVD head unit, with some new door speakers. The location for subwoofer and amps is limited. I'm thinking about taking off the cargo plates under the back seats for the amplifiers, and having a box custom made behind the back seat for the sub. Any other suggestions??

I used an "infinity basslink t" which has a 10" sub in a custom box with an AMP and it slipped right behind my rear seat. Sounds great and was alot cheaper compared to the custom box idea that Car Toys suggested. Hope it helps.
p.s. This really depends on any changes to the amount of room behind the rear seat. My application was in an '05. I am not sure of what changes were made to the space behind the rear seat in an '08.

SuperCrewSound makes a box for two subs to fit behind your back seat. I have heard very good things about it. They also sell Image Dynamics IDQ series subs that fit it perfect and sound great. They are also sponsors of this forum.
