Ya'll seen my truck pics in the gallery (click on my sig image).. What do ya'll think would look better? The Miter cut or the Stacks that angle back like Rampage_F350 has?
On a SRW mitres only. The swept back really only looks good on a dually. After seeing a couple of trucks with the aussie style, I have decided I am not a fan of those.
If I offended any SRW owners with curved stacks, it is only my opinion, and I am still jealous that you have the stacks, and I don't.
Just outa curiosity, would it do any damage to our engines to put flaps on the top of the stacks? Do our engines have enough power to open the flaps?
you can blow potato out of them, and belive me, it has plenty of power to open flaps,
but i just dont like them, maybe on a garbage truck? LOL
not on our trucks,
i have scummins guy running around here with 4 or 5" stacks with flaps and looks lame . but that is just my opinion ............ sorry if i offended anyone,
Ting tingers are NOT designed for little trucks. On garbage trucks and flat beds like pete mentioned, it may be OK but no it looks HORRIBLE on a pickup. When you are sitting there idling it has that stupid ting ting ting, plus when you try to shoot smoke out of a miter with caps, it just goes everywhere and not up.

Now that you mention that I do remember seeing an older bowtie a while back with flaps and it was the most annoying thing ever. sounded like a horrible drum roll.
i have to make pix of that guy in scummins, it looks like s&@t on it, but well, whatever makes you happy,
i cannot resist another comment, those pipes on his truck look like those skinny pipes on hybrid cars with 1.5" on his full size truck,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, LOL
Thanks I'm hoping I can get it all done and done right.. It's going to be a busy few weeks.. My buddy who owns a Tire shop is going to let me roll in to install the TC-400 when the guys break my wheels down.. So that'll be like 2-3 hours..
I'm thinking Miter Cuts with the new Toyo MT's im putting on.. Should look rather aggressive :-P
