Hi I am a new member but have always loved Fords. My first car was a 1953 ford 4/door with a flat head V8. Now after 17 years I have another classic to work on...a 65 f100 flare side ( step-side). I am quite surprised at the condition of the truck...no real body damage, starts and runs...sombody put an auto. tranny in it and possibly new in-line 6. My family and I are going to restore it together..my 7 year old step-daughter (flare-daughter) . My wife and my 2 year old son.... I thought any truck enthusiast would find that joke funny... maybe not, any ways I look foward to speaking with anyone on the subject of my new project!!
What a great way for the family to spend time together. Lucky kids, sounds like a great project and fun for all enjoy. Welcome to the Site and the Forums.
pshadd...
welcome aboard...we'd love to see pictures of your project as you work thru it. The guys in the old ford forums are a great source for info...and have a great time working on the truck as a family...sounds like fun!
