engine rattle
My 04 6.0 is louder somtimes ,makes no difference if it is warm or cold or how long i've been driving it . Today I was driving it would getting louder and Quiter like it was surgeing but Rpms were steady at 1500rpms And it rattles like loose rods sometimes at lower rpms under light loads. Always Runs Good no power loss or codes. build date is 5-04 no mods all stock. No difference after fuel filter or oil changes.55000mi. Never had any work done except e1505 recall Thx.

I'll second with blackhat.... When I had my '03 flashed it did the same thing. I think it effected only the '03/'04 trucks and had to do with them disabling the EBP sensor, which I believe caused a change to the cycling on and off of the EGR valve. Cant remember the flash #. As far as the rattles, they are probably normal.
