When I leave the house in the morning (dew still on the truck) the passanger door and passanger half-door squeak and rattle like there's no tomorrow when on rough pavement. I actually pulled over once to make sure the doors were closed all the way. When I leave the office for lunch - no squeak for the rest of the day. I can only assume it has to do with the temperature and "cold parts" rattling.
For the life of me, I can't figure out what needs to be adjusted or tightened to fix this very annoying and embarassing squeak.
I would do one part at a time to narrow it down with something like wd-40,then if you find it spay some of that white lith. grease on it,you will be able to forget about it then.I had a squeak and it worked for me,like you not being able to find it is worst than the noise itself
Try and lube your tailgate latches (one on each side), many have issues with them making a squeak. I just keep mine lubed and dont have any issues. It used to drive me crazy. How have you narrowed it down to the passenger door?
It's definitely in the passenger door area - it is so loud -- I might have to get the wife to drive so I can sit in the pass seat and isolate. I guess it will be trial and error from here out. If I find something, I'll let you all know....
