Intake Manifold fix?
Hi! I've been looking high and low for a S series 4bbl intake for my 390. I finally found one in a junk yard but it has a small problem. Right on one of the ports, there is a small piece broke off. It isn't much but its there. I did manage to find the piece right where it was laying. I think it was broke when someone threw it down among some other manifolds. ANyway, my question is, I was wondering if this may be fixed? Could it be welded up and then machined? Or will this take the temper out of it or cause it to crack then or sometime down the road? What does everyone think? I bought it for $5 so its no loss if it can't be fixed, but it would be nice since its a S series intake.
