Dashhawk being demoed

So I was able to borrow a Dashkawk from a friend. Outside of having the EGTs and cyclinder head temp not monitored, it looks to be like a little sharp tool. Not bad considering that I can get a full setup for pertty cheap, $330 with A-Pillar. Just mechanical gauges was gonna run me over 400 and I wouldn't of had the ability to log stuff.

Does anyone else have these? I do not see much information on the hawkeye which I believe is an add-on.

Dashhawk = Edge Attitude. I take it the Edge needs a probe as well for the EGT?

There are a few of us with the Dashhawk here. I have had it for a few months now and have been beta testing for MSD. I am really happy with it. They have sent me a different cable and EGT probe that allows me to read EGTs on the Dashhawk and it works well. I am working with them to try to get Intake Air Temp 2 (which is right after the EGR valve) as well as Injector Control Pressure (ICP) working also.

The EGT kit should be available in late October for purchase (they are supposed to get the cables next week and then will have to package them and begin selling them).

They are also working on an add on that will allow either 4 or 8 additional sensors to be added for further monitoring. I have mentioned to them that I am interested in testing engine oil pressure and fuel pressure (if ICP pressure isn't enough). I have also thought about adding another EGT sensor post turbo.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Or post in this thread that I have had for a while now.

I can also send you a link to get the Dashhawk for $250 instead of the $300 that most places charge.

Thanks Beerstalker. I actually sent you a pm a little while ago on the Dashhawk. If you could respond to that, that would be great! Any insights on what the EGT kit will cost now? Thanks again.

Oh wow, sorry about that. I think that I had replied to you but the site went down when I tried to send it and it never went through. I'm replying right now.

I haven't heard anything on cost of the EGT kit yet, but it seems pretty simple so I wouldn't think they would charge too much for it (of course some of the simplest things are priced pretty expensive sometimes )
