I would love to put one in my truck but i want it to be done in a tasteful way that still allows me to use all of my other guages in the dash and keeping things stock appearing. Anybody have any pics of the way they have done their dashes and tachs? Anybody have any suggestions?
I dont have a/c in my truck, so theres a blank spot above the headlight and wiper switch.(where the a/c vent is on MBBFord's dash pic.) WHen I have a chance, Im gonna take a hole saw and cut a hole in the bezel and mount it in the dash. Ive had tach on the column before but I thought this will be a cleaner/unique install. When I do it, Ill take pics and post them.
I used a hose clamp - Tach @ 10:00 position w/ a 2" vacuum (manifold) gauge to the right of it. I can clearly see all the gauges and plan on installing a 2" fuel pressure gauge where the AC vent woulg go on the left side of the dash. I went w/ black face/white lettering to match the stock dash. Not too noticable and easy to read.
NO!
IF you look close, you can see the other seat. It is red(very close to the color of the dash), but when the sun hit the steering wheel cover and seat cover, the camera makes it look pink... Don't know why. It looks red in the sun, just the camera makes it look pink!*)U#@$$
