Question exhaust leak ?

The up pipe drivers side, is black near the dounut. I don't hear it nor do I smell it. Must not be to bad! But it seems to be alittle low on power. or maybe its just me. Can it affect the perfomance on my 2001 F250 7.3 anybody else have have the same problem or advice! Thank You!!

Absolutely will kill power and fuel economy. You are losing boost right there because the drive pressure is being lost before it can drive the turbine IOT make boost. This is not a must fix right now thing, but your performance will suffer greatly and will only get worse. Have you seen the posts on the bellows up-pipes?

Too much for me, especially since they will botch it by simply trying to replace the donuts and it will probably leak again in short order. Not to mention what else they screw up while probably removing anything and everything they deem in the way.

Of course you may get lucky but I do not see them putting in the bellows pipes. I will use those when mine leak. They run over $300 just for the pipes. Some have used Chevy donut style gaskets as a quick fix.
