These are the lamps I bought. I think they could be brighter. Gonna put a set of Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs in them. FYI, O'Reilly auto parts is selling them with a $10 rebate right now. $39.99 after rebate.

Not the BEST of the BEST, but it was the first one I put on my 02 7.3L way back when....

I saw an add for a bullydog 70hp chip for $50 or so....are those any good?

BiggieTx, regarding your Bully Dog question, do a search in the diesel forum and read up on how well people like the chip.

For what it's worth, it seems like anyone who's ever had a generic chip or programmer, and has upgraded to a custom DP-Tuner chip, has always happier and posted the custom tunes from Jody blows away the generic, canned tunes.

Matt, I had a set on my old Expedition headlamps and was very pleased. I will be buying a set of the new "Ultra" Silverstars as they are suppose to be really incredible. Thanks for comments on photos. I'll do some better ones soon when cleaned and not on dirty driveway.

It looks pretty clean to tell u the truth. I have never the head of the "ultra" silverstars. If u get them and put them in and know a difference over the our silverstars, let me know or PM me.
