Don't forget the, run to race city aka Mooresville. Wait, I guess that already happened. How 'bout the new Run to the Rock. A new club took it over from Non-Profit Truckers and changed it to Oct.
I haven't renewed my membership in the Duck Club, aka NPTs in a coupla years so they don't keep me informed anymore.
I'll renew when I get the hog running again.
Normally I'd do the Beacon that Wiz mentioned and the Spice, but when my ride ain't ridin' I don't much feel like doin' cruise-ins or shows.

 

I thought I recall "seeing" a few signs around/approaching Holyhill about a state(?) park there? anyone familiar with this?

I think that's Santee State Park you're thinking about Rick. Not too far from Holly Hill.......exit 98 on I-95 I think. I haven't been that way in a while......but I am going to make a run up to the U-Pull in HH soon. At least it used to be a U-Pull.......been a while there too.
I'll scope it out when I go up. I know Eutawville is only a few miles from HH and Santee is just up on I-95 from there.
Wife and I went up to Santee a few years ago.......rented a boat and spent part of the day fishing in Lake Marion. Had a good time. Didn't catch any fish.......but it was fun.

Hey f100kid1936, Let me know next time you cruise to the Beacon show maybe we can meet. I know its hard to go to a cruise without a ride but there are some good folks there, I can't wait for my 54 to be ready.

 

Sorry I'm late answering, Wiz. I thought about doing that for the Jacey(sp) Bagwell cruise recently. I went to one a couple of months ago, but it just didn't feel right and I haven't gone to another one. If there's another one around, I'll contact you in this forum.

Hopefully I'll fire mine off one day next week. After I notify the neighbors to watch out for flying objects! LOL! Sucker hasn't been cranked in about 2 or 3 years so theres no telling what might fly off of it.

Wiz, I have really enjoyed being here. The site I spent about 5 yrs on was a so-called military site. I was in the AF for 12 yrs and thought it was a good site for vets active duty and their families. One forum was attacked by "aliens" from Moron.org and Democrat under gound and trolls. It finally turned so far left that I just called it quits.
I think this site is great for us Ford nuts!

Wiz, I think I'll try to make that one. Altho they're having the big blowout in Greer today, I'd rather stay in town(altho these days, on 29, it's hard to tell one town from another). I'll wear a blue pullover shirt with the Non Profit Truckers logo, so I should be easy to see, especially being an old grayheaded cuss, too! LOL!
