My 1999 Ford F250 7.3L Powerstroke has been bucking periodically at any speed and, when driven, slow it may stall. It has a Superchip microtuner that returns the code error PO344 and PO603. Have installed several new KAM sensors per PO344 code, but the pickup continues to buck. The pickup was purchased used with the tuner, and I have no way of knowing what the stock setting originally was. When we got the vehicle, the tuner wouldn't work so we sent ti back to Superchips to have it reprogrammed. When it came back, I had no idea whether the pickup was set on stock or high-performance mode, therefore when the tuner reinitialized the computer, I don't know if it reset 'stock' to the factory setting or the one at which the pickup was now set. If the settings were for the current mode, have I lost the original factory 'stock' setting? Can you tell me how to find the underlying problem and how to fix it? My mechanic has no answers.
