Well I mean, if you want to put the window halfway down, how do you do that? Isn't it just going to go all the way down then you push the switch?

Yeah normally cars that have auto windows have two separate positions on the switch for rolling the window down, that is, click the switch halfway it will roll down manually, push it ALL the way down and it will roll down automatically.

Please do post your results, this mod interests me.

Talking

.........just a note about's this feature/mod, it is already a stock/oem feature on my 96 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4, for the Driver's side only. Just tap the button and it goes all the way down; OR tap again as it is going down and it will stop for there, or use accordingly for up and down afterward's.......this feature work's only for when initially the window is to start to go down from the full up/closed position from start......otherwise work's just as a normal electric window switch just as for the passenger side.........
