I'm wondering if anyone could give me some advise... I just got a brand an '08 f150 fx4 and want to install a leveling kit on it, but nothinh I see on the market says '08. Everything is 2004-2007. Will an '07 kit fit in my '08? Thanks for your help guys...
Welcome to FTE. As far as I know, there is ZERO difference from the 07 to the 08 (at least suspension wise). It typically takes the aftermarket companies a few months to just officially recognize the new year.
Yeah I agree, I see no reason why a 04-07 setup wouldn't work on your '08, but if you still want the peace of mind just give a company like Autospring a call and ask them.
Like WheelMa1 said, there aren't any differences in the suspension from 04-08.
Just a suggestion, I believe the Auto Spring leveling kit is the best kit out there. They are cheap, strong-great quality, and easy to install.
I put the 2.5 Autospring on mine, and it's borderline a little too high in the front for my taste, although not too bad. Some guys on here have said that the 2.5" made theirs a little too nose high. If I had to do it over again I would probably get the 2" set...esp. if ya tow at all. But thats just my opinion!
I have the 2" Autospring and its just about perfect...still about 1/2 inch lower in the front, but sits level with 250lbs of ballast in the back during winter.

+1 on the 2 inch leveling kit. I was lucky to find this forum before I ordered mine or I would have got a 2.5 inch one. I'm very happy with the 2 inch kit.
I noticed no difference in ride, as long as you go your alignment done after your installation you should be fine. I know there was some concern on here to what these things will do to your trucks in the long run but I guess only time will tell that. It defiantely gives it a more aggressive stance, like a 4x4 should, IMO!
Installed Revteck 2" leveling kit at 50 miles. There is no difference in ride or any noise issues. The truck is an 2004 FX4 with 94000 miles currently.
For what it's worth total maintenence excluding brakes, tires and oil changes have totaled less than $500. Will be buying another 2008 just like it.
Have to agree with the others who suggest Autospring. I put a 2 inch on my FX4 and its perfect. Considered the 2.5 but after reading others who said it would make the nose a little high, I decided against going that high.
As for installation, it was not bad. Once you do one side, the otherside is a breeze and takes half the time.
