Drivers side headlight?
Does anyone know any tricks to removing the drivers side bulb without taking out the battery??? Thx
Upgrading to silverstar bulbs, alot nicer than halogen, especially in the fog lights. Everyone should do this if they havent

When I put my Silverstars in it was 9 o'clock at night and I was able to do it but it was a little bit of a hassle. I had my kid out there with a flashlight helping.

Ya i did the twisted scraped up hand trick to get it in but it went
Kris, when i upgrade i will take it all out too. What headlights are you running now, the silverstars in the 02 work pretty well. Do the newer lights actually put out more light or do they just look cooler?

On my 02 I just kept taking things off until I could reach the bulb. I will say it's much quicker the second time. Drivers bulb has gone out twice. Passenger bulb is still factory. It doesn't really take that long to remove the battery once you admit you have to disassemble half your truck for a stupid bulb.

My driver side went out before also, when I was up north once, on a sunday(up there your lucky to find anything open on a sunday), so i had to put my stock bulb back in.
A couple months later, my buddies truck drivers side went out he ended up cutting his hand to hell too, because the bulb broke when he pulled it out. I had my other stocker bulb to get him by. Im just PRAYING just PRAYING my bulbs never got out in there 05 headlights. They are a pain in the rear to change out.
