Red face 00 PSD Engine

Just picked up this engine for a spare.Noticed after getting home some suttle differences in head design,i.e. fuel inlet to head postion . I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to use heads, but I'm hoping you guys aren"t going to tell me the block is different.I only gave$300 for complete w/spider,hpop injectors no turbo(don't care),3"inlets it did run before they took it out had 200+++miles they considered it a core. Whatta think.
The only thing that resembles injector id is tag that says AE, build date mar 21 00.Is this a good injector code and what is flow, might try them in my 96.Ya i know there splits but thougt dp or tony could give me tunes that would work.Untill i get $$$ for stage I's.

It will all work, heads and block. There are some small differances but all the bolts and holes will match.

If you plan to keep a fuel pump in the vally then you will need a cam with a pump lobe on it.

All the fuel ports are there just looks different.

You dont need new tunes to run splits, put them in and go as long as they are in good shape, that many miles on a salvage motor the odds are aginst you. AD splits flow about 140cc.

Pull the solenoids off and check under the armeture plate for clearance. You will need a set of feeler gauges that go down to .0015 atleast. Try and slide the .001 feeler under the plate and if it wont go they will need more then a DIY kit.

Been here awhile just dont post much.

Do you need to get rid of the spider to offset the high cost of that motor? LOL. Welcome to FTE BTW.

Bean is here? Welcome back. Hate to hear Dusty left he was a nice guy. BTW I love your IDM.
