running boards
I just got a set of "used" molded running bards for the screw. My problem is it didn't come with any of the bolts to mount them. I can see where it mounts to the body, but is there any type of plates that are on the backside of the brackets to help support the boards. What kinda of bolts where used? Any other input would help.

Matt, I just installed a new set of boards on my supercrew. There are small "u" shaped clips that have threads one one side and a larger hole on the other for the bolt to go through. If you pull the black tape off the inside of the rocker panel there is a square hole next to the round hole. This clip slides through the square hole and around the round one. In sheet metal work these clips are called "tinnermans". I think you can find them at any auto parts store. Also when you install these clips make sure the treaded side of the clip is facing away from the side them bolt enters. Hope this is a help. Bill Dustin
