this years comp is based on 'muscle car' era engines - no stroking- but can use readily available performance parts. can bore to .025.
goal: max average hp and torque per ci from 2500-6000rpm.
Honestly....i'm NOT posting this in support of my past claims on this forum that the 400 is a superior engine with adequate aftermarket and i'm convinced that it's a fluke that there are twice as many ford 400's being used than any other engine from any manufactorer.
now back to see if i can get my &#%& 400 to run!
