remote start
any ideas on how to install a remote start on a manual transmission vehicle and avoid the start in gear safety issues. has anyone came up with some sort of switch to tell the remote start when the truck is in neutral?

Does it have the clutch switch? YOu won't get it to work if you have to have the clutch in to start, you'll have to bypass it! You could rig a micro switch so when the shift lever was in neutral it rubbed the switch lever( get the long one with the weedeater line like lever) It isn't too hard A bracket and a little aligning and it should be reliable just coat the switch in dielectric grease or put into a project box!
