Ok i took a video of my truck idling, something is seriously wrong but don;t know what. It is an 83 6.9 and if you go to youtube, search bassproguy07 and its the video of the engine compartment

That time it worked.
Is this something that suddenly came on or was it more gradual?
My first impression is something skipped a tooth and now either both the cam and injection pump timing are retarded or just the pump timing is retarded.

can not skip a tooth it is all gear driven no timming chain but the injector pumps were knowen to go bad and you would lose all power. Is the smoke white or black? White then it is water getting in the cylinders black running very rich injector pump or bad injector.
