Ok i have a reg cab stx...Had it for a year and a half now. Well, i need to know what product can i buy to shampo my cloth seats they are pretty stained with food and all types of stuff. What products can i use which are safe; moreover its very humid where i live, so my side panel door and steering wheel gets sticky. Is there any products out their to clean the steering wheel dash board etc, like gunk and sweat etc....without damaging my dash and all the above...??
I've been using armorall, works well with keeping it shiny, but not too good in making the stickyness go away!!
I would be interested in a good cloth upholstery cleaner too. My two tone Biege seats are starting to get some spots on them. Wish I had got the leather now but it looked so light colored it scared me too.
i use a product called 'blue magic' or something blue...clean the whole panel at a time to avoid any rings or spotting...works great...i use scotch guard to keep the stains off
I used Blue Coral on my cloth seats, then got some neoprene seat covers. Much easier to clean, wetsuit shampoo cleans everything off them-oil, blood, wine coolers ect.
The best product I have used is the " Blue Coral Upholstry Cleaner ". You first vacume the seats, then spray it on, brush into the cloth using the brush on the lid, and then you can vacume it dry. On tough stains I have given it 2-3 applications. Then, when done and dry, I take 1-2 cans of Scotchguard and spray the crap out of the seats. Let it dry for 2 full days. Then if you do spill something you will be able to blot it up without stains. Works well, and I've done this on 3 vehicles....
well look into those products....but how up about for the dashboard and the up and all around the steering wheel, used this generic wipy type cloth but, did'nt really last...looking for something to wipe of the dirt, sweat, and gunk that builds up all around the dash, steering whell and side arm panels...
