Just wire the thing for 6 or 7 pin connectors. If you have 7 pin trailer wiring, you can adapt to any other electrical hookup, and everything works as it should. But with 4 pin, you are stuck with right blinkers, left blinker, running lights, and ground. 7 pin is so much better.
The wire is 4 flat. I called the trailer manufactorer and they seem to think that is an issue with the Brown wire from my truck. I looked at the connection and there is some corrosion in there. i will attempt to clean it or just purchase a new end for it and take better care of it.
