New here, hello everyone
Found this website while doing other searches for more mods to my 79 F250 4X4. Looks like I will get alot from here and probably have alot to contribute to it as well. I have overhauled/rebuilt several engines over the years. Made mods to the drivelines, the front frame of a 71 Cougar, disc brakes on a Dana 60, and installed a 4BT Cummins with an NV5600 transmission into my 79 F250.
What I plan to do next is to extend the frame and replace the std cab with a Crew Cab. I will also be installing a sunroof in the cab and making a custom dash. The truck will be completely rewired (updated) utilizing a wiring harness from a much later Ford pickup.
I work for a major aerospace company as an electronics technician so the electrical will not be a problem. I also do all my own welding. I raced Go Karts for about 10 years and was a NASCAR Late Model crewmember for about 5 years.
If you have any questions for me just ask away.
Thanks.
