Well I'll be ordering gauges tomorrow for sure. I'm going to get a 3 pod a-pillar.I was wondering where you guys got your kits from and where the best place to go for the money is.Thanks.
I got mine from ITP, Dipricols from Danin. Quality stuff. There is also Autometer and ISSPRO. They are all quality though I think AM had a run of bad thermocouples for a while there. That seems to have cleared up.
Just order any of those from a good vendor from this site, or just a good vendor and you should be OK. Any problems that arise become a nightmare with fly by night cut rate vendors where customer support is concerned. Also, be sure you get everything you need for the install. I have a bunch of connecters and taps laying around from my ITP install kit. Way more than needed but good to have.
So, check dieselsite, diesel innovations, ITP, Black cloud, etc etc etc. I'm sure recent buyers will chime in as I have surely left out a bunch.
Got my DiPricols from ITP as well. They're a little more ($350 instead of $300 or so) than the Autometer & ISS gauges, but they're LED backlit and look like factory gauges:
If I had the chance to do it again, I'd go the same way.
Funny thing is how one of the other brands offered instructions to use a magic marker on the bulbs for the gauges, or now even an LED conversion. I don't even know what the latest is but at the time I ordered mine, the Danins were the only LED gauges shipping that way.
