just ordered
i just ordered my tony wildman 6 position chip. I am excited to get it in and see what it is like. I am giving my dad back his edge for his 02. Im not going to get this in until my new tranny and tq are in but i was just wondering should my truck be faster and pull better with the new trans tq and tw chip? I heard that the chip will get me about 30-40 hp over the edge with the injectors i have and i heard the tq makes a huge difference.

First you need to send the chip to me as soon as you get it. That way I can test it out for you and make sure that everything is O.K. with it. L.O.L.

You should definitely feel a difference with the new parts. I don't know if it's a requirement or not, but you might want to drive the truck for a few days so the PCM and tranny can relearn how each other is working BEFORE you install the chip.
I seem to recall that the tranny needs to upshift and downshift several times so the PCM learns how the tranny acts. I don't think I'm explaining this very well.
You'll want to make sure the new parts are working properly first, then add the chip to make sure one is not negatively affecting the other.

You'll be impressed, no doubt about it. The combination of stage 1's and TW chip is unreal in my pickup and I'm sure you'll see the same in yours. My goal was to catch up to the power of my dad's 02 7.3, this combination goes way past that on the tow settings, the empty runaround settings are just plain stupid fast/strong.
